Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CuttingToolsAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. CuttingToolsAI is a brand-neutral cutting tool intelligence platform for professional machinists, manufacturing engineers, and production managers.

2. License to Use

CuttingToolsAI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal and professional tool selection, subject to these terms. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to gain access to source code
• Use the platform to develop competing services
• Scrape, bulk download, or export data without permission
• Use the platform for unlawful or harmful purposes
• Share account credentials with unauthorized persons

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use CuttingToolsAI to:

• Harass, threaten, or defame other users
• Post malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of third parties
• Transmit spam or unsolicited communications
• Engage in systematic tool data farming or bot activity

5. Limitation of Liability

CuttingToolsAI provides its services "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CuttingToolsAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to:

• Loss of revenue or profits
• Loss of tool or machining data
• Business interruption or equipment downtime
• Errors in tool recommendations

CuttingToolsAI is a decision support tool and should not be used as the sole basis for critical manufacturing decisions. Always verify recommendations with your team and ISO standards.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of CuttingToolsAI (including tool databases, algorithms, and design elements) are owned by CuttingToolsAI or its licensors and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without explicit permission.

7. Termination

CuttingToolsAI may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms, non-payment (for paid plans), or other conduct that CuttingToolsAI deems harmful to the platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

8. Pro Subscription Terms

CuttingToolsAI Pro is a recurring subscription at 19 EUR/month (or 190 EUR/year). Your subscription will automatically renew each period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your Account Settings. Refunds are not provided for partial-period cancellations.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CuttingToolsAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

10. Modification of Terms

CuttingToolsAI may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to updated terms, you must stop using the platform.
